Steam Roller Letterpress at SVC Wayzgoose!
I made a mess of myself this past weekend, but it was all in good fun.
I was at the School of Visual Concepts Wayzgoose festival, helping print the Seattle AIGA letterpress poster. Wayzgoose is a celebration of all things letterpress and SVC has a contest where teams from different create groups carve their own linoleum plate to printed by steamroller. We have to layout the design, carve the linoleum (which made my thumb go numb for a few days), and then ink the plate. There were a lot of great designs displayed at the SVC building that day.
